WOW, December was a jammed packed month of FUN, memories, travel and good times!!!! We started the month with a weekend trip to Blue Ridge with our friends. We sat by the fire, roasted smores and rode the Santa train.
The following week included a work trip to North Carolina for me and LOTS of catching up afterwards in order to get ready for the weekend ahead. Saturday the 11th we celebrated my birthday and enjoyed a 6th birthday bowling party with a group of Cooper's friends. On Sunday Grandma arrived for a two day visit to be with Cooper for his birthday, which was Monday. 
Cooper's birthday included a special lunch at school from McDonald's, cupcakes we had made at home for his friends and pizza/banana pudding with the grandma's that evening! OHHHH to be 6 again!
Later that week Atlanta had an ice storm cancelling one day of school but NOT stopping the GREAT holiday performances and/or class parties (one of which I wa sin charge of!). Cooper was Joseph in the Kindergarten play and Samantha sang her heart out on stage with her fellow pre-K friends.
We left town on Friday the 18th for a special Disney trip, a present from Dede and Papa. We enjoyed every minute of the fun-filled whirlwind trip! The highlights included Cooper completing Jedi training, Phil FINALLY being chosen as an extra for Indiana Jones and Samantha eating dinner with 4 of her favorite princesses. Nothing like an awesome 4 day Disney trip to celebrate the upcoming holiday!!!!
We droe two cars to Orlando and on the way home, my parents and I took a detour in Macon to pick up our sweet new doggie friend!!!! Biscuit went home with my parents for two days prior to making his debut on Christmas Eve (an early delivery from the elves due to cold weather and a scary sleigh ride!). The kids were SHOCKED and are in LOVE! Phil and I are in the midst of some serious puppy-training.....we forgot what that entailed!
Christmas Eve included a fabulous dinner in our home (cooked mostly by my mom, YUM) and early to bed in new PJ's from Dede. We woke up EARLY and enjoyed our first Christmas as a family in our own house sans travel, ahhhhhhhh! Uncle ken had arrived on Christmas Eve and we opened presents, ate yummy food and took our new puppy outside every 45 minutes!!!! Snow arrived mid-day and offered us a beautiful white Christmas! We could not have asked for more.
And now, we are EXHAUSTED!!!!!!!!!!!
