My favorite things about our Sandestin trips:1. NOT being able to spead out....this means we have a BIG family, and even moreso, a BIG family that makes the effort to BE TOGETHER. For that, we are blessed.
2. The LOUD crazy stress and opinions of many......this means we are part of a family, one that is very alive and able to have opinions.
3. The fights the kids have with their cousins......this means they have cousins to play with, argue with and learn from.
4. Cuddle time with Grandma and Grandpa......like Samantha told her cousins, this means my children have 4 grandparents who are very present in their lives and love them dearly.
5. The 7 hour drive to Sandestin even though the people we met there FROM Atlanta AND Mapquest say 5.5 hours........this means we have time together, a car that works and a place to go.
6. The laundry piles, the pictures to upload, the schedules to get back on track and the sunburns to sooth......this means we were so busy having fun we let the rest go untended to. Good for us!
7. And the memories, year after year, that we are making as a family. Nothing can replace those days.
Thanks Grandma and Grandpa for allowing us to have these times together.
